Dear Christ Church families,
Can you believe it’s the week of Thanksgiving? What a fall we have had. I am thankful for you and praise the Lord for you. May this holiday be one in which you rejoice in the gift of his salvation.
This week we return to Big Events! Actually, it is our last week reading the first installment of this devotional. You will enter the Pre-Reformation and learn about the Waldesians, Wycliffe, and John Huss. Again, we see persecution and struggle in the lives of our family members of the past. May their witness and the work God gave them to do encourage you and your family.
Next week, we will begin the season of Advent. If you are able to attend our last in-person service of the year on the 22nd, you will be able to pick up a hard copy of the Advent and Christmas devotional. Otherwise, we will get a copy to you either via mail or electronically.
Happy Thanksgiving and all praise and glory and honor to Christ alone!
