Christ the Mediator (Family Curriculum)

While we “shelter in place”, it is my desire to continue to provide strong resources for you and your families. Weekly, we explore a biblical theme accompanied by activities, created content, and Bible readings that we hope will continue to fortify your faith. This week, I invite you and your family to delve into the truth of Christ our mediator.

Week of May 3, 2020:  Christ the Mediator

PARENT-CHILD ACTIVITY

  • Celebrate the founding of Christ Church together by drawing pictures of what our church will be like. Consider pictures helping one another, eating together, and worshipping together.

  • Pray that Christ Church will be a place that others can learn about Jesus so that they might come to know him too.

DURING THE LIVE STREAM

  • Orange Line kids may complete this week’s Kid Connect.

  • For Red and Green Line kids, these activity pages may be of use during the sermon:

3 FAMILY DEVOTIONALS TO READ THROUGHOUT THE WEEK

SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES FOR CHILD(REN) TO DO

  • Follow the Leader: Take turns to be at the front of the line, all the kids in line must do whatever the person at the front is doing, whether that is standing, waving, running, jumping, dancing, skipping, hopping, sitting etc. Make it even more exciting by having lots of obstacles in the room.

  • Orange Line: Review New City Catechism Questions 21-35 “Christ, Redemption, Grace”

  • Everyone: Memorize Psalm 100:5 (or all of it!).
